Our Vision
CPR Foundation is a registered non-profit organization founded in the USA and India to aid the underprivileged and needy. From promoting education for poor students through academic scholarships and career counseling to providing COVID-19 relief, we tackle the world’s problems for the poor, one step at a time. We believe every person deserves to live life to the fullest despite financial setbacks and constraints.
Our Story
The foundation was started in memory of late Prof. Chebrolu Papa Rao who believed in the vision of helping young underprivileged students through financial aid and mentoring them to achieve excellence. He came from a very poor weaver’s family in Chirala, India and has faced significant challenges financially and morally, right from his childhood. But nevertheless, his willpower and determination to excel academically and succeed through hard work, helped him overcome numerous challenges and pursued his dream of obtaining Ph.D in Chemistry from Osmania University, India, while working part time jobs in parallel all the way from age of 14. He served as Professor of Chemistry at Osmania University for a long time and later worked in the USA as a Research Associate at UT SouthWestern Medical Centre, Dallas, USA Throughout his life, he has pursued his dreams and achieved the impossible against all possible odds.
