Our mission is to allow students to rely on a trusted adult as a mentor when the conditions around prevent them from having adequate support, guidance and resources to thrive in their careers.
Over the last two years, more than thirty college students have been connected to half a dozen mentors with various academic backgrounds and professional careers around the world. The goal of the career counselling is to identify the interests of the mentee’s early in their careers and nurture them to achieve their highest potential by providing ongoing career advice and help succeed in their lives and careers.
From helping to build an English repertoire to garnering job interview skills, mentors aid college students in their search for careers. Students are provided with weekly check-ups to call a mentor and practice English speaking skills and ask questions on their next steps to acquire a successful job.
